Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Announces New President and CEO
San Antonio, Texas (Nov. 7, 2023) —The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the appointment of Jeff Webster as its new president and CEO.
Webster has an impressive background in both the private and public sectors and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in economic development and public policy. He has 35 years of experience in the business community and served two terms on the San Antonio City Council. With his extensive experience in business development and a commitment to growth and prosperity in our region, Webster is the ideal candidate to lead the Chamber into the future.
Webster will officially assume his role as president and CEO on Dec. 1.
In response to his appointment, Webster expressed his enthusiasm and dedication to the role, saying, "I am truly honored to have been chosen to lead the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. San Antonio and its surrounding region have immense potential, and I look forward to collaborating with our diverse business community, stakeholders and partners to foster economic growth, create jobs and enhance the quality of life for all residents."

On behalf of the Executive Board, Harvey also expressed her appreciation to interim president and CEO Dave Petersen. “We are grateful for Dave’s leadership over the past year, which has kept the Chamber moving forward and laid the groundwork for Jeff to be successful.” Petersen will return to his role as executive vice president of the Chamber.
